Generally well constructed apart from the cylinder ends which have a tendancy to detach from the barrel

Robust! - I think not!

In my never ending search for a quality foot pump I thought I would give this one a go. Sadly, its hardly "robust" as the blurb says and buckles and bends under foot when used and there were 2 rubber bits that fitted under the feet that fell off and vanished the first time it was used. This is another cheap product that has been oversold and does not meet expectations!!

Not as robust as it should be. The anchor nuts should be at both sides of the holding bracket (which is only tin plate and bends very easily). I thought this would be stronger than most foot pumps but it isn't.
