Again like the rest of the UK track diagrams, i found that the book is recommended for people who wish to know the mileage for any branch line in the former western region. Or for those who wish to look in awe at the track diagrams of the many locations.

This was the first Railway Track Diagrams book I had bought - I waited for it as I live in the South East. I was far from disappointed! Meticulously researched and wonderfully presented, it is pleasure to open the book. Astounding in its detail, it is enjoyable to view and plan routes or simply marvel at the accuracy to which the diagrams are drawn.

Excellent book for those people who wish to study the vast amount of trackwork in the former Eastern Region. Fantastic to just look up a route and calculate mileages and just plan routes to your heart content.
